Terrorists will never leave. They go far back to viking times (probably earlier), and have been around since (pirates, our modern terrorists, etc.)

the good thing is they've never risen to an enmormous power (except when they wiped out the Romans). they've always been in their little corner.

The real threat is probably the other countries... although they are usually too weak to do anything big.

What's nice in America though is that even though we have a very strong military there is an equal balance of power (in the government) so that we don't (or can't) misuse that power.

And in Canada we are very peacful with a small military but powerful. I love Canada we aren't in the way of anything or anyone, that i know of lol

Well, when terrorists rule a government or nation (e.g. Viking Scandinavia, Barbarian Europe, Pirate Jamacia, Iraq recently) can be very powerful.

I don't believe that terrorists are in control of Iraq right now... the religious extremists are.
